How to use Compare PDFs
Upload the original (A) and the modified version (B). We render both page by page, compare pixels, and output a diff PDF where changed regions are highlighted in red and unchanged content fades to grey. Shows you precisely which paragraphs, numbers, or images were altered.

Frequently asked questions
How does the comparison work?+
Pages are rendered as images and compared pixel-by-pixel. Changed pixels appear red; unchanged content is faded to grey. This catches any change — text edits, formatting, image swaps.
What if the PDFs have different page counts?+
We compare the pages they have in common. Pages that exist in only one PDF are noted in the result metadata.
Can I compare password-protected PDFs?+
Unlock them first using our Unlock PDF tool, then compare.
